What makes it even stranger is that outside of the maps themselves, I like a lot of the systems: getting 3 villagers who can grow into a variety of classes, specific spell lists for every magic-user. The devs at Intelligent System have obviously learned a lot about what makes a compelling and challenging map over the decades designing FE Games, so choosing to apply none of that exp to Echoes' maps is simply baffling. I have not played the original FE Gaiden, but from what I understand, the director for Echoes was a big fan of the original, and elected to put 20 year old maps in a modern game with minimal changes. My first big issue is with the map design. Underneath this initial veneer of polish, however, lie some key issues. There are dungeons that provide a nice changeup to the traditional FE gameflow with a more traditional JRPG feel. There are also high quality (for the 3DS) 3D cutscenes interspersed throughout the game for key narrative moments. This game manages a good balance between striking armor designs that at least look practical, even if they aren't necessarily realistic or historically accurate. This is unique praise from me, because I strongly dislike armor design in a great many Fire Emblem games, especially for the female characters. The game is fully voiced with quality performances all-around, while also having very strong character designs, probably top 3 art direction for a Fire Emblem game. The success of Awakening and Fates shows immediately in the production quality. Overall decent game and would recommend if youre looking for a good strategy game with a lot of things to fall back upon and with decent presentation in story, music and visuals.ħ6h 36m PlayedShadows of Valentia is a very uneven game. The game is a decent experience as long as you can handle the absurd and tedious process of gameplay and a really meh story. The game works well for what it is even though gameplay and story leave a lot to be desired I think its worth to pick up and finish and would even make a good entry point in the series even with its open world style and grinding necessity gameplay. Even though i say that, the story has a lot to be desired like more nuanced characters more personality and motivation to some characters, it does its job decently well and it works for what it is, yeah FE isnt really praised for its story (except for the great games held in Jugdral) but man do they actually got me wanting for a more compelling story. Obviously the story isn't a masterpiece but I did find myself quite invested and quite honestly one of the points why I kept going with the game. The gameplay is quite lacking but in terms of presentation its definitely the games stronger points the visuals, the MUSIC. It really shows in its map design and game design in entirety Swamp Maps, Desert Maps, literally point A to B bs, and frigging one inventory space as well as dungeon clearing which i was not a fan of. As my first FE in the 3DS I cant really make a comparison but from what I can gather from mitosis its quite different and its a game that pays great homage to the game its remaked upon: Fire Emblem Gaiden a game from the NES/Famicom era. 40h Played After finally getting back on the FE saddle for a long ass hiatus, FE Echoes was a good game to continue where I left off, not great or bad just good and thats due to the fact that the game is literally just a really old game thats been coated in new paint.

It just makes the phone look less fat than some more brick shaped cases. Love the finish and the lightly rounded sides. Plus, I’m not one of those people who have their phone in their hands 24/7 so the times I grab it for checking some messages and maybe writing a short answer aren’t worth all the hassle to secure it as the time spend to use the loop is often more than the time I spend watching the screen when the phone is out of my pocket. That is, if I do want to use it one-handed so with only the thumb of the hand that holds it. While on the ring finger it’s just too low to properly use the bottom. On my middle finger, the phone sits too high to use the top of the screen. I don’t have large hand or big fingers, yet, the loop is still a tight fit. Almost a two-handed job but it can be done with one hand and some finger yoga. It’s not in the way of anything or so but it’s just too much hassle to get it around a finger. I’ve got the loop case and find myself barely using the loop. I’ve got an iPhone 13 Pro (not the Pro Max) so my answer might not fully apply to you. The loop was not something i thought I will use, i dont even like those ring things that people place on their phone, but the pd case with loop is a game changer for my usage :) its not a daily thing for me, but its good to know its out of the way when not needed and its there when your use case scenario calls for it As with all PD products and one of the reasons i like to invest in their ecosystem is that they are really well thought of. I bought the wallet stand and the mobile case together but the wallet was really the one i figured will have more use but i find myself liking the mobile case with loop more. Its not an “instant” thing for me as its a two-handed operation (maybe i need more practice haha) but there are use cases where it is really nifty to have the loop like when taking macro photos, when i was in a very small boat and needed to use the phone it came in handy as it felt more secured in the hand. But upon receiving it, i find myself using it more than i thought i would. I wasnt looking to buy the loop version since i dont see myself using it, but an online sale in our country made their price difference really negligible so i went for it, figured if i didnt use it, its out of the way anyway so no problem with it. If you are fangirling Todoriki (like I do!) you will began to fangirl Killua in HxH (like I also do!).Ĥ. *It is worth noting that both works lose much quality in their second season. *It also has other characters that deserve comparation, such as: In addition to both being sentenced to death since the beginning of the anime *Koro-Sensei and All Might: The teacher with a supernatural force who is always smiling, but who gets furious when they play with their students. The only difference is that the Uraraka it's not a crazy yandere. *Kayano Kaede and Uraraka Ochaco: Girl cheerful, short and cute which is the love interest of the protagonist (and who also loves him). *Akabane Karma and Katsuki Bakugou: "Friend" and rival violent and agressive of the protagonist.Beyond this "explosive" personality, both characters have the same voiceover. He also has great admiration for his teacher and receives a certain highlight in his class. *Shiota Nagisa and Izuku Midoriya: Protagonist half timid who lives scoring what he considers important. *Some characters from bith works can also be compared, for example: In the two anime, both students and teachers has one more occupation (Assassin in Ansatsu Kyoushitsu and Hero in Boku no Hero Academia) *The two anime there are plots that happen in a school, where both classes where the main characters are specials (the worst class in *Ansatsu Kyoushitsu, and the better class in Boku no Hero Academia) If we pay attention, the two anime they are very similar. Watch them, try them, I highly recommend them. Comedy can be somewhat different for both of them, but I think it's the message that can give you a worthwhile time. What does it mean to be a hero? Well, I'll leave that question up to you! I highy recommend these two anime, especially if you've watched one of them already. Most of it spoilers so I'll avoid it, but nevertheless. There's more to this anime than meets the eye, believe it or not. But Midoriya or Deku is something you can like because HE'S REALLY TRYING. See every Shonen character wants to be something, some more skillfull than others. Shonen can feel samey, but in my honest opinion, My Hero Academia has something to offer. He's basically YOU, if you're a superhero fan. He's a fan of superheroes, and he also wants to be like them. See, Deku was born without any sort of quirk, basically powers that manifest after a certain period of time. Do you know Robin from Batman? Well, even he would be sad for Deku. This one, unlike the all-powerful Saitama is an underdog. Many of the stuff I want to talk about are spoilers, so I'll just leave it at this, if that's you're cup of tea. Emptiness and boredom is lethal, even if you are having fun right now, sometimes you just can't help but feel. One Punch Man explores what it feels like to live life all over again, and what life can be, and how it can be. Which is another reason why he became a hero. He clearly loves to fight, he gets a kick out of it. or will he? See, Saitama, is in many ways like Goku (from Dragonball). In the world he lives in, villains appear left and right, some weaker than others, some even stronger than others, but nevertheless, Saitama never got beaten. Because of this, Saitama feels like life is already done for him, thus the emptiness starts to kick in. See, every villain he ever faced would instantly be defeated (or die) because of his punch. One Punch Man, is a story about someone who became a hero. Both of these, despite their differences, have one thing in common: Exploring what it REALLY MEANS to be a superhero. In my opinion, it's actually weird for me to recommend both of these in the same light. Some become superheroes after a tragic past Some become superheroes after they were originally a bad guy Some who got their powers because of an accident Do you like superheroes? Well if so, keep reading. |
